Lawrence is our Intellectual Property consultant with dual expertise in Intellectual Property and Business Management. He is experienced in managing intellectual property portfolios and advising on acquisition, licensing, and divestiture. Lawrence possesses strong business acumen and an understanding of corporate operations, which allows him to leverage intellectual property as a strategic asset to enhance business growth and competitive advantage.

He is also experienced in renewable energy and its relationship with intellectual property. He is familiar with the unique IP challenges and opportunities within the renewable energy sector, including patenting innovative technologies and navigating licensing agreements.

Dr Sharon Nyatsanza

IP Consultant | Global trade | Agriculture

Dr. Sharon Nyatsanza is a highly qualified lawyer with a PhD in Law from the University of the Witwatersrand, specializing in intellectual property, economic law, and human rights. She also holds a Master of Laws (cum laude) in Global Trade Law and a Bachelor of Laws, both from the University of Fort Hare, South Africa. Additionally, she earned a Global Certificate in Tobacco Control from Johns Hopkins University and completed an exchange program at Harvard Law School, focusing on constitutional law, global health rights, and intellectual property. Currently serving as Deputy Director at the National Council Against Smoking (NCAS) in South Africa, Dr. Nyatsanza is a dedicated policy advocate for public health legislative reforms and corporate accountability, particularly in tobacco control. She leads strategic advocacy initiatives, engages policymakers, and oversees organizational operations. Dr. Nyatsanza has also made significant contributions to academia and policy discourse as a published researcher and a sessional lecturer in intellectual property law at the University of the Witwatersrand
